Cernunnos Rising

WITCHES TREE

Website

I sit beneath the witches tree,
The elder mother talks to me.
I’ll journey to the other side,
Her fragrance takes me there.
Old lady standing wise and bent,
Mid-summers night, I breath your scent.
The other world, so near, so far,
So will you lift the veil.

I sleep beneath the witches tree,
The roll-right stones watch over me.
The fey they dance by full moonlight,
I watch them as they shine…
“Breath deep and drink her wine”.
Oh queen of herbs, good fortune bring,
Your mystic healing ways, I sing.
Through you I’ll meet the faerie folk,
All dancing in a ring.
Owd girl give up thy sacred wood,
A staff and wand to me you should.
For I will give you some of mine,
When I become a tree.

I sleep beneath the witches tree,
The roll-right stones watch over me.
The fey they dance by full moonlight,
I watch them as they shine…
“Breath deep and drink her wine”.
Owd girl give me of fruit and flower,
The wine, the essence, and the power;
To see ahead more clearly now,
The path within the mist.
Old lady standing wise and bent,
Mid-summers night, I breath your scent.
The other world, so near, so far,
I see beyond the veil.

I sleep beneath the witches tree,
The roll-right stones watch over me.
The fey they dance by full moonlight,
I watch them as they shine…
“Breath deep and drink her wine”.
I sit beneath the witches tree,

MORDRED’S LULLABY

Website

Heather’s Modern Celtic sound and tireless touring have earned her a broad international following. Her original music “is powerful stuff… with a depth and resonance rooted in its mythic sources” (Vancouver Sun), and is reminiscent of Loreena McKennitt and Sarah McLachlan.

Hush Child

The darkness will
Rise from the deep
And carry you
Down into sleep

Guileless son
I’ll shape your belief
And you’ll always know
That your father’s a thief

And you won’t understand
The cause of your grief
But you’ll always follow
The voices beneath

Loyalty
Only to me

Guileless son
Your spirit will hate her
The flower who married
My brother the traitor

And you will expose
His puppeteer behavior
For you are the proof
Of how he betrayed her loyalty

Loyalty
Only to me

Hush child
The darkness will
Rise from the deep
And carry you
Down into sleep

Guileless son

Each day you grow older
Each moment I’m watching
My vengeance unfold
For the child of my body

The flesh of my soul
Will die in returning
The birthright he stole

Loyalty
Only to me

Hush child

The darkness will
Rise from the deep
And carry you
Down into sleep

Gipsy

MAGICK

Magick magick, magick
If you use your imagination
Magick magick,
real magick Is a doorway to the mind

Magick magick, magick
Oh it takes a bit of concentration
With magick magick, real magick
Of a very special kind

Here is how to cast a spell
To know what is to be
Throw a coin in a wishing well
And see what you can see

Look inside of a crystal ball
With the art of divination
Listen to your inner voice
You will find the information

With magick, magick, magick
You can take your imagination
Magick, magick, real magick
Through the doorways of the mind

Magick, magick, magick
You may find a lot of inspiration
With magick, magick, real magick
Of a very special kind

Magick is a mystery
As ancient as the sun
If you know your history
You’ll see how far we’ve come

Let the light surround you
There is so much to be done
Education, evolution
Ascension to the one

True magick, magick, magick
Know your stars and moons and constellations
Magick, magick, real magick
Universal mind

Magick, magick, magick
You can use your imagination
Magick, magick, real magick
Of a very special kind

Rainbows unify
Of a very special kind

Magick, magick, magick
If you use your imagination
Magick, magick, real magick
It’s a doorway to the mind

Magick, magick, magick
Oh it takes a bit of concentration
Magick, magick, real magick
Of a very special kind

Rainbows unify
Of a very special kind

Magick, magick, magick
you can take your imagination
Magick, magick, real magick
Through the doorways of the mind

Magick, magick, magick
You may find a lot of inspiration
With magick, magick, real magick
